2021 wins as a yoga & retreat photographer in London

What a year 2021 has been - on a personal level, it sure was a whirlwind. I entered a deep healing journey that has resulted in an expansion of everything around me, including my professional life. I still see the ripple effects of all the seeds I’ve planted throughout my life and I’m excited to see where 2022 takes me !

🤸🏻‍♂️52 teachers and wellness experts have trusted me to help them stand out with photography that looks like them - 52 positive feedback, 52 people who have decided to not listen the little voice in their head that is telling them to be self conscious, 52 people who embraced themselves !

📸I launched the first ever London Yoga Photo Club - I am an educator at heart and I love sharing everything I'm passionate about. I can't wait to see where this will go in 2022 - although I do have a small idea. I hope to lock in the third edition very soon - I left the last one feeling so energised and buzzing despite not having slept the night before and a long working day. Such a joy to bring a community of teachers together!

🌳I have taken pictures on THREE retreats , including two overnight ones. Capturing the magic that happens during those intense moments of deep connection is truly where the magic lies, as a photographer and as a teacher. I cannot wait to run more retreats this year - they are my favourite way to connect with students.

✨I have rekindled my creative spark, which was if not turned off pretty dull nonetheless after what feels like a lifetime simply trying to survive. It's been amazing to explore new ways of taking pictures without having the pressure to "make money" - even more amazing to see some of my clients were taken enough with my experiments to want them for their photoshoot.

All of this when nearly half the year was spent in lockdown... It's incredible to look back and see it written down 🤯

I can't wait to see where 2022 takes me.
